- All Flourish: Blogs
Monday Morning, and wishing everyone a flourishing week.
Fri 3pm 39 deg.
Jeesh! Who would have thought a newsletter could take such a long time to do? Off to school pick up then back to press 'Send!'. Sign up if you haven't already. Have 20 movies passes to give away...
Update as at 5pm Thurs....
Currently working out how to add a blog post with a comment box directly underneath...bear with me...will get there. Living in Perth? Hope you've managed to stay a little cool today. If I can get this worked out and new blog posted soon, will go down to Cottesloe Beach for sunset and a walk through the Sculptures by the Sea. Til later! Jane x
PS: realise this isn't quite a comment box...time to ask for some help from Story Interactive before I totally destroy this page playing around...maybe time to stretch the legs too.
Well here we are....my first ever blog post. Hello x
Exciting and slightly daunting at the same time. So many things to write about, and share with you.
Firstly welcome to the new Flourish magazine website. Thanks to the ever affable and very clever Jules from Story Interactive, I'm pretty chuffed with how the site looks and most importantly, how it works. Simple to navigate for you to find your favourite pages. And I'm finding pretty simple for us to work this end.
Flourish magazine is an alternative to the gossipy, Hollywood celebrity mags out in the marketplace. Not saying they don't have a place - I'm all for a bit of escapism and catching up on the latest 'news' - and enjoy flicking through these mags and visiting various sites. But here at Flourish we like to offer something more substantial with a variety of deeper, meaningful articles and columns offering inspiration, ideas, practical advice for living your life in a healthy, positive manner.
Flourish magazine is for ordinary women just like you. Ordinary as in wonderful, talented, organised, beautiful, nurturing, real, caring, emotional and downright fabulous.
I've set my laptop up in a room with beautiful views of the Swan River in Perth. This is my blog writing spot, and I'm looking forward to spending lots of time here getting to know you, and for you getting to know me. Welcome again, have a good look around the site, and enjoy. Let us know what you think in the Comments boxes.
Thanks for visiting and see you back soon.
Jane xx
