No Bake Fruit + Chocolate Slice


2 packets plain biscuits such as Milk Arrowroots
250g Butter
½ cup raw sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
2 well-beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 tablespoons chopped dates
2 tablespoons sultanas


  • Grease and put baking paper on a biscuit tray.
  • Crush biscuits using a rolling pin, or a quick whiz in a Thermomix. Remove from TM.
  • Melt butter, sugar and cocoa together in a saucepan, or in TM for 2 minutes/60ºC/speed 2.
  • Add vanilla, beaten eggs, crushed biscuits and dried fruit. Stir well or for 5 secs/speed 4.
  • Press into prepared tray.
  • Set in fridge for at least an hour before cutting.
